From supporting her mother's entrepreneurial food business in Johannesburg's CBD to pursuing education through ABET adult learning and completing an NCV in Electrical Infrastructure and Construction at Southwest Gauteng TVET College, Nelly has demonstrated unwavering commitment to personal growth.
She is currently advancing her skills as an occupational electrician while serving the Foundation.
Leadership Role
Nelly's heart for community service was cultivated through years of volunteering at her local primary school — cleaning classrooms, cooking for learners, and serving as a School Governing Body (SGB) member from 2014 to 2019. She brings this same dedication to the Foundation, ensuring smooth administrative operations, meticulous record-keeping, and warm, efficient communication. Nelly thrives in collaborative environments, valuing the opportunity to learn from others while contributing her organizational skills and dependable service.
